Q: What Does It Cost?
A: Costs vary depending on the number of treatments that will be necessary to correct the problem. Special treatment plans and payment options are available for your convenience. Our office accepts most PPO plans. For your convenience, you may call our office prior to your visit to determine if your insurance covers treatment at our office. Just contact our office and someone would be happy to prequalify your insurance before you come in.Worker's Compensation and Personal Injury claims are welcome. We also accept patients on a lien basis.
Q: Does It Hurt?
A: The treatments are generally painless. Most people look forward to them because they experience immediate relief and relaxation. Treatment is always gentle and tailored to your comfort levels.
Q: Once I Start Do I Have To Keep Coming?
A: Through the course of your treatment at Rejuvenate Chiropractic Spa, you will become more knowledgeable about your body and more aware of your postural health. We do encourage regular maintenance visits beyond active treatment for a condition or symptom.Ask yourself this question “How many times have you been to the dentist or taken your car in for an oil change?” Too many to count? This is because you understand the importance of regular maintenance check-ups on these things. Our goal at Rejuvenate Chiropractic Spa is to educate families as to the importance of having a properly aligned spine and a body that always functions optimally at 100%.
Q: Do I Need Permission Or A Referral From My Primary Care Physician To See The Chiropractor?
A: Chiropractors are also considered gatekeepers in the health care system. We can evaluate, diagnose and treat conditions independently. You do not require a referral or prescription from your physician in order to come to our office.We work with other doctors and are happy to refer to them for conditions that we cannot treat.
Q: What is Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy (NSSDT)?
A: We utilize this form of treatment with DRX9000a. It is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that was developed for the treatment of lower back pain caused by disc herniations and degenerative disc disease. The process is effective in relieving low back pain by enlarging intradiscal space, reducing herniation, strengthening outer ligaments to help move herniated areas back into place, and reversing high intradiscal pressures through application of negative pressure.
Q: How Is NSSDT Performed?
A: The patient, if qualified, undergoes a protocol of treatments on the DRX9000a to relieve low back pain. The protocol lasts 4-6 weeks and each individual treatment is approximately 30 minutes. You merely lie down in the DRX and the machine gently stretches and pulls your back to increase intradiscal pressure. Between treatments you simply wear a brace that keeps pressure off of the area of interest, so that you are back on your feet quicker. Many patients experience a full recovery following the 4-6 week protocol and choose to periodically undergo DRX treatment to avoid future back pain.
Q: Is NSSDT For Me?
A: If you suffer from pain due to disc herniation, disc bulge, degenerative disc disease, sciatica or any form of chronic low back pain, NSSDT may be for you. The doctor must first qualify you for treatment. First, he must review MRIs of your low back to see if NSSDT is for you? Then through a consultation and set of tests, he will determine if your condition is suitable for treatment by DRX. This consultation is free of charge to you. At Rejuvenate, we rigorously pre-qualify our NSSDT patients to ensure that we able to treat those who are most in need due to the high demand for this treatment.
Q: Do I have to see the chiropractor in order to schedule a massage?
A: No. You have the ability to see our massage therapists exclusively without having to see the doctor. Our therapists are highly skilled and trained to recommend a check-up with the chiropractor if they find symptoms that might be alleviated with chiropractic care.
